Publish documents dynamically
Flexible document publishing is the crux of any decent Content Management
System and ours is no exception! Being able to publish documents how and when
you want gives you the freedom to grow your website in a natural and organic
manner while being able to control every aspect of your content, including all
important navigation. Just some of the tools available to help you shape your
website design and content, your way:
- Publish now or in the future. Whatever type of document or
content you need to add to your website, you can decide when it's actually
published, i.e. when it appears to visitors viewing your web pages. Documents
and content can appear as soon as you click the "save" button or at a set date
in the future.
- WYSIWYG editing. Built in What You See Is What You Get
editors allow you to edit content just as you would edit a document in a
modern-day word processor. Use bulleted lists, bold and itallic text, colour and
paragraph formatting and much more. No techincal knowledge required!
- Edit meta data. Meta data is the hidden bits of
information, most of which isn't seen by the visitor. This information describes
the document by using a short description and keywords and keyphrases to help
search engines to determine what your page is about so that it can be added to
search engine results accurately. You can add and edit meta data for each of
your pages.
- Document preview. Not sure how things will look when you've
published? Use the built in preview pane to get an idea of how your page will
look when you're finished!
- Use template variables. This isn't nearly as complicated as
it sounds! By including varying pieces of information specific to your document
template you can cutomise the look and feel of your page exactly.
