Merchandising, inventory and shipping
Not many e-commerce solutions give you full inventory control. Keeping track
of stock is a difficult job for any business. Selling online with our e-commerce inventory and
shipping facilities, you can know exactly what went where, when to re-order
stock, which items are proving to be best sellers and much more . . .
- Full inventory control. You set how much stock (how many
units) you have available to sell, each time a buyer purchases a unit the system
records it and deducts it from the total. Should something become out of stock,
your visitors are notified with an "Out of stock message". You decide whether or
not they can back-order the item or choose a similar item that is in stock. The
system will even send you an e-mail when you're running low on a particular
item!
- Limit minimal orders. If you like, you can set the minimum
sale total amount required in order for your visitors to check out. For example, it may not
be worth your while to ship one £1.00 item.
- Dynamic handling charges. Shipping and handling charges can
be added to an order based on product, weight, location, or all the above.
- Automatic tax calculations. Tax is added to items
automatically based on the settings you specify. You can also "Tax Exempt"
products which are not subject to tax.
- Gift certificates. Allow your users to send friends and
family electronic gift certificates to spend at your online shop. Or send out
gift certificates to customers who haven't bought for a while to encourage
further sales. All automated, protected and efficient.
